I am a portrait and event photographer based in Durham, North Carolina. I have built my career on crafting beautiful and unforgettable creations. With a decade of experience as a fashion designer and visual artist, I have transitioned into the photographer’s studio, where I create portrait, editorial and event photography that captures the inherent beauty of life. My mission is to bring joy and confidence to every client who steps in front of my lens. I look forward to creating stunning images that celebrate you and your life’s most significant moments.

And let me be honest: I showed up to my headshot session with every awkward cylinder firing. Samantha was so patient, kind, funny, and supportive throughout the session, helping me look and feel good on a day where my confidence was down. She doesn't just tell you something looks good if it doesn't; she walks you through what to do, how to do it, and why to do it to get the best photos -- all while playing your favorite songs. Her studio location is in a fantastic area, a short distance from the Raleigh/Durham metro area. Samantha’s studio is spacious and warm, and she was stellar to work with.
